Overview
Dour is a fast, sporty activewear WordPress theme for gym, running, yoga and football gear, with a train-by-activity block and 1–5 fabric ratings for every piece.
Dour is an activewear WordPress theme for shops that sell training tops, leggings and tights, shorts, sports bras, joggers, track jackets, gym bags and caps. A graphite header, slanted teal and amber stripes, skewed buttons and italic Barlow Condensed headings make it feel quick before anyone even scrolls.
Built for people who sweat
Sportswear buyers ask practical things. Will this legging stay put in a squat? Does this tee dry fast on a morning run? Can the same shorts work for football and the gym?
A regular fashion layout leaves those answers to your inbox. This activewear WordPress theme answers them on the page, with two blocks you will not find in a general clothing theme and a product page that talks about fit and fabric.
Train by activity
The Train by activity block has four tabs: gym, running, yoga and football. Each tab lists three things that sport needs and shows the kit you have tagged for it.
Someone who just joined a gym taps one tab and sees a ready kit. A runner sees running gear only. It is the shortest road from “I don’t know what to buy” to a full cart.
Know your fabric, rated 1 to 5
The Fabric tech block scores each piece from 1 to 5 for sweat-wicking, stretch, breathability and compression. Pick a piece, and its photo appears beside four rating bars.
Now compression tights and a loose cotton tee no longer look the same on screen. Shoppers compare properly, and your team spends less time typing the same replies in chat.
On the product page, a fit meter, fabric tech and care details and an expected delivery date sit next to the buy button.
A homepage with a sprint in it
Dour ships with 24 homepage blocks: 17 on in the demo and 7 more off by default. In Homepage layout you switch any block on or off and drag it into order; on a phone, arrows do the moving.
The hero slider uses slanted action slides. Shop by category has slanted tiles, New drops shows two rows of the latest stock, and Best sellers sits in category tabs.
Sprint sale runs a countdown with stock bars. Shop by who offers four cards for different shoppers, Shop by budget mixes price tiles with products, and three department blocks each carry a banner with eight products.
Trending now, Top rated and a Partners logo row follow. Training notes shows your latest three posts, and the promise strip covers tested gear, exchange, delivery and COD.
On the bench: Our promise, Quick links, Four cards, Banner + row, Promo cards, Brand spotlight and More to explore.
From cart to doorstep
Dour runs on Themeve Commerce, a plugin bundled with the theme and installed during setup. It handles the cart, checkout, payments and delivery.
A login popup lets customers sign in or register on the spot. Reviews live in a fold on the product page, with a popup asking for the first one, and a wishlist saves gear for payday.
Checkout takes one page, then an “Order placed” popup confirms it. Buyers follow their parcel on the Track Order page. Size guide, back-in-stock, offers and returns are already on, which helps when one legging size runs out.
For an activewear WordPress theme in Bangladesh, payment choice counts. Dour takes bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, cash on delivery and manual payment, and ships through Steadfast or Pathao courier. Coupons and invoices are built in.
Running the shop
New orders can arrive as Telegram alerts. SMS and OTP cover customer messages, and the Facebook Pixel with Conversion API measures your ad spend. It all sits under the Shop menu in the dashboard.
People shop for gym wear on a phone between sets, so this activewear WordPress theme keeps the phone header to menu, logo and cart and keeps product cards compact. The layout is fully responsive on every screen.
Set up the activewear WordPress theme without code
Head to Dour → Theme Options, or open the Live Customizer for a preview. The options dashboard works on a phone too, so you can change a sale banner from the gym floor.
Five color palettes come ready: Graphite & teal, Track red, Court blue, Volt and Purple pace, each editable color by color. Four font pairs: Barlow Condensed with Barlow, Saira Condensed with Inter, Oswald with Work Sans, or DM Sans alone.
Sections cover the header and menu, product cards, the hero, activities and fabric tech, product rows, the product page and the footer. A setting search, sticky save bar, reset and settings export and import help, and Google Fonts can be turned off.
Demo and requirements
The one-click demo, “Dour — Activewear”, imports 27 products from 3 lines: training tops, leggings, shorts, sports bras, joggers, jackets, bags and caps. It also sets up train by activity, the fabric ratings, training notes, menus and every page.
Pages include About Dour, Delivery, FAQ, Our Stores, Returns & Exchange, Training Notes and Track Order. All artwork and line names are made-up samples. Dour needs WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 7.4+, and is tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Selling printed tees and hoodies too? See Chhap. Stocking warm layers for winter? Kantha covers cold weather. For a sports shop that wants to sell by activity, Dour is the activewear WordPress theme to pick.
