A dense, organised homepage

A navy line runs across the top, then the logo with a header ad beside it. The navy menu marks the current section with a gold underline and the home tab in gold. A gold "ব্রেকিং" ticker runs below.

Top area

The top story mosaic shows one big story and four smaller ones. Beside it are three columns: latest and popular tabs, a "নির্বাচিত" list of editor's picks, and an ad box with the poll. A "টপ ১০" strip then numbers the ten most important stories of the day, a quick scan for readers in a hurry.

Tabbed blocks and columns

Three tabbed blocks each hold two categories, for example politics and economy, or sports and entertainment. A lead with four cards, three rows of three-column boxes with gold bullets, a navy video panel, district news with a navy picker, opinion quote cards and a photo grid follow. Each section label is a navy tab with a small gold notch.

In Admin, Homepage you pick the categories for every slot: three tabbed pairs, the lead block, three rows of three columns, district news and opinion. Changing the order of the day takes a minute.

Newsroom tools in the laravel news portal

Every story starts in a four-part form. First the shoulder line, headline and summary. Then the text, with sub-headings, lists, quotes, links, pictures and YouTube buttons; pasted text keeps only simple formatting. Third the main picture, caption, an optional YouTube link and extra pictures for a photo story. Last the Google and Facebook title and description.

Roles

Reporters write and send stories to Waiting for an editor. Editors publish everything and manage categories, tags, the homepage and polls. Admins also handle ads, pages, users, settings and the licence. Each person has a designation shown with the byline, and the admin works in a phone browser for reporters in the field.

The dashboard of the laravel news portal counts stories by status, lists the waiting stories, and shows the week's most read news and recent edits, so the shift editor sees the state of the desk at a glance.

Twelve ad places

Ad income is where a laravel news portal pays for itself. A magazine layout carries more advertising without feeling crowded, because ads sit in their own panels. Sangbadchitro has twelve ad places:

Each ad can be a banner picture with a link or a code from a network such as Google AdSense. Set start and end dates for a campaign, switch an ad off with one tick and read its click count. The inline place repeats through long stories, so one ad fills each gap.

Online polls ask Yes, No or No comment questions, with live percentages in the admin. You can hide the poll box when no question is running.

Pages for readers and search engines

Besides the homepage, readers get category, tag, author, latest, popular, search and date archive pages, a video page, a photo gallery and a country page where they choose a division and district. Story pages show the section path, headline, summary, byline and time, share buttons for Facebook, WhatsApp and X, copy link and print, tags, related news and the next story.

Each story has its own Google title and description, structured data for news articles is added for you, and the site publishes a sitemap at /sitemap.xml and an RSS feed at /feed. Photos and video

Settings

Logo and favicon, Bangla and English names, tagline, editor and publisher lines, office address, phone and e-mail, footer note, ticker length, Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram and LinkedIn links, the homepage title and description and your Google Analytics ID are all changed in Admin, Settings.

Licence

One licence key works on one domain. Activate it during install or in Admin, License; remove it from the old domain to move. Local test addresses work without a key, and the License page tells you when a new version is ready.
