Overview

Angina is a saree WordPress theme for WooCommerce: an elegant look for sarees, salwar kameez, kurtis, bridal wear, half-silk sarees and orna with jewellery, with category tiles, product rows and sign-in with a mobile number or email.

Angina is a saree wordpress theme for shops that sell women's ethnic wear online. Sarees, salwar kameez, kurtis, bridal wear, half-silk sarees and orna with jewellery all get a clean, elegant look with a warm yellow accent, large photos and a graceful serif heading font.

Angina runs on the free WooCommerce plugin, so sizes, stock, coupons and orders work the way shop owners expect.

Import the demo in one click and you get 15 products in 6 categories, 11 pages, menus and 3 blog posts.

Who Angina is for

A saree or kameez shop sells on colour, fabric and trust. Angina fits:

  • Saree shops that sell Jamdani, half-silk, cotton and festive sarees.
  • Salwar kameez and kurti sellers with ready-made and custom-stitched pieces.
  • Bridal wear shops that sell lehengas, wedding sarees and sets.
  • Facebook boutiques that run live sales and want a real website with a cart.
  • Weaver and artisan brands that sell their own handloom pieces across Bangladesh.
  • Accessory sellers with orna, maang tikka and festive jewellery.

If you were searching for a saree wordpress theme because your page now gets more orders than your inbox can handle, Angina gives you a shop that takes those orders for you.

Why Angina works as a saree wordpress theme

A saree is bought for its colour, its border and its drape, so the photo needs room. Angina's hero slider uses your photo as the full background, with a short line, a big title, a soft note and a Buy Now button on top.

The category tiles are portrait photos with the name under each one, so Saree, Salwar Kameez, Kurti, Bridal, Half-silk and Orna & Jewellery are clear at a glance. Section heads have a "See More" pill that opens the full list.

Many a salwar kameez ecommerce website template is really a gadget design with new colours. Angina was drawn for ethnic wear from the start: soft colours, a serif title font, Bangla-ready text and a size choice on every demo product.

The homepage, block by block

Every block below the header has an on/off switch in Theme Options, and you can drag the blocks into any order. Here is the demo, from the top:

Offer bar and header

A yellow bar at the very top of every page carries your offer text and a code pill that copies the code when tapped; leave the text empty to hide it. Under it sit the logo, the main menu in the centre and three icons: search, account and the cart with its count.

Hero slider

A large rounded slider with two slides in the demo, "Festive Collection" and "New Season", and dots to move between them. Two square side banners can sit beside it, each linking to a category. On phones those banners sit side by side under the slider.

Shop by category

Photo tiles for up to six main categories, six per row on desktop and three on tablets. On phones they turn into one row that scrolls sideways, so the page stays short.

Product rows

Each line in Theme Options makes one row: a title, then a category, a tag or new products, then how many. The demo shows Best Kameez (five), Saree Collection (five) and Latest Products (ten).

Features strip

Four promises with icons: Handpicked Quality, Fast Delivery, Cash on Delivery and Easy Exchange. Write your own lines, such as your delivery hours in Dhaka or your exchange days. On phones they sit two by two.

Reviews, FAQ and blog

Three review cards with a round photo, a name and five stars; the demo reviews are in Bangla, and the theme loads a Bangla font for them. An FAQ with questions that open and close, plus a help strip with your phone number and a WhatsApp button. The latest three posts close the page under "Style Journal".

Product cards and the product page

A product card shows a "Save: ৳" tag on sale items, a "New" badge on products added in the last 60 days, a heart for the wishlist, the photo, a two-line title, the price and stars. Under them sit a Buy Now button and a round cart button. You can change the badge and button words in Theme Options.

Every demo product has two choices: Free Size, and Custom Stitch at a slightly higher price. That fits blouses and kameez that a tailor makes to measure, and the demo FAQ tells buyers you will call for measurements.

In a saree wordpress theme the product page has one main job: show the fabric well and make ordering easy. Angina puts everything in one white panel. The gallery has zoom and a full-screen view, so buyers can study the border and the weave.

Beside the gallery are the title, the price with an In Stock pill, the short text and a "Secure payment" strip with your payment logos. Then come the size choice, quantity buttons, Add to Cart and Buy Now. Buy Now goes straight to the checkout.

Three boxes under the buttons promise fast delivery, cash on delivery and a 7-day return. Below the panel sit the Description, Additional information and Reviews tabs, then a Related Products row. The page uses WooCommerce's own template functions, so plugins that hook into the product summary keep working.

Shop pages, filters and search

The shop and category pages have a title bar and a filter card beside the products:

  • Search Products inside the filter card.
  • Categories, or the Current Category, locked on a category page.
  • Price Range with a minimum and a maximum in taka.
  • Average Rating.
  • Stock Status: in stock or out of stock.
  • Product Status: On Sale.

Apply Filters and Reset All buttons sit at the bottom. Products show four per row and 20 per page. On phones a Filters button opens the card as a panel. The search icon in the header opens a search panel that shows matching products as the buyer types.

Phones, speed and customer accounts

Most saree and kameez orders in Bangladesh start from a Facebook post on a phone. On small screens Angina shows a menu button, the logo and the search, account and cart icons. A bottom tab bar gives Home, Categories, Cart, Chat and Account. Chat opens WhatsApp with your number, and a side drawer holds the full menu.

The theme's own JavaScript is one plain-JavaScript file of 57.4 KB, about 14.5 KB compressed. The theme does not need jQuery for its own features and uses no page builder. There is one stylesheet, about 102 KB compressed. WooCommerce still loads its own scripts, as it does with any theme.

A light saree wordpress theme matters when a buyer taps your link from a live sale on mobile data.

Accounts, wishlist and order tracking

Angina has its own sign-in and sign-up popup and page. Customers can sign up and sign in with a Bangladeshi mobile number (01XXXXXXXXX) or with email and password. Password reset works by email.

By default buyers can order as guests. If fake cash on delivery orders become a problem, switch on "Orders need an account" in Theme Options. The checkout then asks everyone to sign in first and brings them back to finish the order.

Buyers can save pieces with the heart and find them on the Saved Items page, which helps when someone is choosing a wedding saree over several days. The Track Order page shows an order by its number and email. Every message from the Contact page form is kept in the dashboard under Angina → Enquiries, even if email is not set up.

Running the shop with this saree wordpress theme

You use the normal WordPress and WooCommerce dashboard. Orders arrive in WooCommerce → Orders. Products, sizes, stock, coupons and categories are edited the usual way.

Theme Options

One settings page with a section sidebar and a search box holds the homepage layout, colours with ready-made palettes, typography, header and menu, the offer bar, the slider and side banners, product rows, the card badge and button text, the review, FAQ and blog texts, the contact form, checkout and accounts, and company details for the footer.

Delivery and payment

The demo sets up a Bangladesh zone with two delivery choices: Inside Dhaka at ৳80 and Outside Dhaka at ৳120. You can change both in WooCommerce. It also adds a WELCOME200 coupon, ৳200 off an order over ৳2,000, once per customer, and the sign-in popup shows the code to new visitors. If you change the code in the offer bar, create the matching coupon in WooCommerce.

Cash on delivery works out of the box. Add bKash, Nagad or card payments with any WooCommerce payment plugin, and add a courier plugin later if you need one. Payment logos sit in the footer bar.

Licence and updates

Activate the licence once. Updates then arrive in the dashboard and keep your content and settings.

Get started in one afternoon

  1. Install WordPress and WooCommerce on your hosting.
  2. Upload Angina in Appearance → Themes → Add New and activate it.
  3. Activate your licence with the key from your Themeve account.
  4. Import the demo from Angina → Setup → Import demo.
  5. Add your sarees and kameez with photos, sizes, prices and stock.
  6. Set delivery and payment in WooCommerce.
  7. Place a test order from your phone, then share the link on your page.

Photos in the demo are free-licence and the shop name is invented, so replace them with your own before launch.

Tips for an ethnic wear shop

A good saree wordpress theme only helps if the photos show the real colour. Shoot in daylight, show the full drape, the border, the pallu and a close-up of the weave. Show the blouse piece too when it comes with the saree.

Write the fabric, length and work in the short text, such as "half-silk, 12 haat, with blouse piece" or "georgette kameez, three-piece set". Buyers who cannot touch the cloth read these lines closely.

Use one product row for your current festive collection and change it for Eid, Puja, Pohela Boishakh, Pohela Falgun and the wedding season. A new hero slide for each season tells regular buyers the shop is alive.

Bridal buyers ask many questions before paying. Keep your phone number and WhatsApp easy to find, and answer questions about stitching and delivery dates in the FAQ.

This saree wordpress theme works with any WooCommerce plugin, so you can add payment, courier, SMS or booking plugins as the shop grows.

Angina runs on WooCommerce, the free shop plugin used by millions of stores. See all our WordPress themes for more shop designs.
