Overview
Babu is a menswear WordPress theme built for shop owners who are looking for boutique website templates that look like a real tailor's counter. It sells shirts, trousers, blazers, waistcoats, panjabi, shoes and leather goods. The colours are paper, navy and tan, the headings are set in Bodoni, and thin stitch lines and pinstripes run through the pages.
You do not need to run a menswear store to use it. The design suits any clothing or fashion shop that cares about fit, cloth and a calm, grown-up look. The demo shows a menswear shop, but you can fill the theme with your own range, your own words and your own colours. It also comes with the shop plugin, so you can take orders on day one.
Who can use these boutique website templates
Babu was drawn for a men's shop, but the layout works for many other businesses. Here are the shops that fit it well:
- Men's shirt, trouser and blazer shops with a physical outlet and a website.
- Panjabi and festival wear sellers who get most orders around Eid and the wedding season.
- Tailoring houses that sell ready-made suits and also take alteration requests.
- Shoe and leather goods brands: belts, wallets, bags and formal shoes.
- Multi-brand boutiques that stock several fashion houses under one roof.
- Facebook page sellers who want their own website instead of taking orders in the inbox.
- Small clothing labels that sell unisex basics and want a classic, serious look.
If you sell something other than menswear, change the words in the blocks, upload your photos and pick another palette. Nothing in the code locks the theme to one product type.
Light pages that load quickly
A fashion shop lives on photos, and photos make pages heavy. Many boutique website templates add to that weight with sliders and plugins. Babu keeps the rest of the page small. The theme script is plain JavaScript, with no jQuery loaded. There is one main style file and one main script file. Images below the first screen load only when the visitor scrolls near them, and the Google Fonts can be switched off if you prefer system fonts.
On a phone, the header shows only the menu button, the logo and the cart. Product cards are compact, so a buyer sees more shirts for each scroll. That matters in Bangladesh, where most shoppers browse on a mobile connection.
Front-end features in these boutique website templates
Header and menu
- A clean header with logo, menu, search and cart.
- Sub-items of your main menu open as panels, so a long category list stays tidy.
- An announcement bar with rotating lines for offers and delivery news.
- A login popup, so customers sign in without leaving the page.
- An English and Bangla language switch.
Twenty homepage blocks you can switch and re-order
The homepage is built from 20 blocks. Each block can be turned off, and you drag the blocks into any order from Theme Options. On a phone you use arrow buttons instead of dragging. The blocks are:
- Hero slider with pinstripe slides and two side cards for this week's offers.
- Promise strip for delivery, cash on delivery, exchange and hemming. You write the lines yourself.
- Shop by fit, four hang-tag cards that open the matching shirts and trousers.
- Categories with pictures.
- Deal of the day with a countdown and stock bars.
- Best sellers in tabs by category.
- Suit up, a banner with a tailoring row for blazers and waistcoats.
- Smart buys, price tiles that lead to products in each range.
- Occasions, four picture cards for events such as weddings or Eid.
- House in focus, one brand and its products on a single stage.
- The style desk, your latest three blog posts.
- Three department blocks, each with a banner and eight products.
- Fresh off the rail, two rows of new arrivals.
- Trending and top rated rows.
- House logos for the brands you stock.
- Three promo cards.
- More for your wardrobe, a large grid with a Load more button.
Product cards and product page
- Cards show the house name, star rating, units sold and a button to add to cart.
- Sizes appear when the buyer hovers over a card.
- The product page lets the buyer choose size and colour.
- A size guide opens from the product page, and delivery charges are shown before the buyer commits.
- Reviews sit in a neat fold. When a product has none yet, a popup invites the first review.
- A sticky buy bar and an image gallery with zoom keep the photo and the price close.
Account, wishlist and checkout
- Sign in or register from a popup.
- A wishlist page for pieces the customer wants later.
- A one-page checkout.
- An "Order placed" popup after payment.
- A Track Order page where buyers follow the parcel.
Footer and ready-made pages
The footer holds your contact details, links and menus, and it folds into sections on a phone. The demo import also brings the pages a men's shop needs: About, Delivery, Exchange and Alterations, Size Guide, Our Stores, Style Desk, FAQ, Track Order, Wishlist, Privacy Policy and Terms. Cart, checkout, account and order received pages are included too.
Dashboard settings for boutique website templates
Babu Theme Options
Every look-and-feel setting sits in one place: Babu, then Theme Options. The tabs run in a plain order:

- Colors.
- Typography and style.
- Header and menu.
- Product cards.
- One tab for each homepage section.
- Product page.
- Footer and contact.
A search box finds any setting quickly. A sticky save bar keeps the Save button on screen while you scroll. You can export your settings as a backup or reset them and start again.
Colours and fonts
- Five ready palettes: Navy and tan, Charcoal, Bottle green, Oxblood and Linen.
- Manual colour pickers if your brand has its own shades.
- Four font pairs: Tailor (Libre Bodoni with Archivo), Gent (Playfair Display with Lato), Modern (Fraunces with Inter) and Sharp (Oswald with Roboto).
- A switch to turn Google Fonts off.

The shop dashboard behind the counter
Babu runs on Themeve Commerce, our own shop plugin. It comes in the package and installs from the Setup screen. You do not need WooCommerce. A new Shop menu appears in your dashboard, and these are its parts.

- A Marketplace module, and a REST API with signed webhooks for developers.
How it helps you sell more clothes
Boutique website templates should follow how people shop. Most men pick a fit first and a colour second. The Shop by fit block puts that habit on the homepage. A buyer who wants a slim shirt taps one card and sees only slim shirts.
The promise strip answers the four calls every clothing shop gets: when will it arrive, can I pay on delivery, can I exchange it, and can you hem it. Customers who find the answer on the page do not need to message you.
Deal of the day with stock bars suits one strong blazer or shoe offer. Suit up and Smart buys help you sell a second item, such as a waistcoat with a blazer. Coupons and Flash Sale bring buyers back before Eid.
The same ideas work for other kinds of shops, because boutique website templates are only useful if they bend to your stock. A bag brand can use the fit cards for sizes, and a shoe seller can use them for styles.
Set up in a short evening
- Upload the Babu theme and activate it. It installs like any other theme.
- Open Babu, then Setup, and install the shop plugin in one click.
- Add your license under Babu, then License.
- Run the one-click demo import to load products, menus and pages.
- Pick a palette and a font pair in Theme Options.
- Replace the sample products, house names and photos with your own stock.
- Switch on your payment methods and set delivery charges in the Shop menu.
- Remove blocks you do not need and place a test order.
The demo, "Babu - Classic Menswear", loads 39 sample products from 6 houses. Every name and picture is a sample, so replace them with your own. Babu works on WordPress 6.0 and newer, tested up to 7.1, with PHP 7.4 or newer.
Think of it as a menswear website design wordpress theme that you can bend to other clothing stock, since every block is editable.
Why choose Babu over a plain template
A plain template gives you a header, a grid and a footer. Most free boutique website templates stop there. You then spend weeks adding a cart, payments, couriers and a size guide from separate plugins. Babu already includes that work.
- The shop plugin is in the box, so the theme and the shop are tested together.
- bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, cash on delivery and the two main couriers are built in.
- As a menswear website design wordpress theme, it has homepage blocks made for clothing, not copied from a general blog layout.
- Everything is changed from Theme Options, with no code.
- The page is light, with no jQuery and lazy images.
- Updates come through your Themeve account.
