Overview

Bilati is an imported food ecommerce website template for WordPress and WooCommerce: sell pasta, cheese, chocolate and Asian pantry items, let buyers shop by country, show new shipments and take cash on delivery.

Bilati is an imported food ecommerce website template for WordPress and WooCommerce, made for shops that sell pasta, cheese, olives, chocolate, Asian pantry items, olive oil and gourmet spreads from around the world. It has a travel look in ink navy, tomato red and parchment, with airmail-stripe borders, passport stamps and tilted polaroid photos.

Buyers choose a product, pick a Single or Twin Pack, add it to the cart and pay cash on delivery. Bilati runs on the free WooCommerce plugin, so stock, coupons, orders and payments work the normal way, and any WooCommerce plugin can be added later.

The one-click demo brings 31 products in six categories (Pasta & Sauces, Cheese & Olives, Chocolates & Sweets, Asian Pantry, Oils & Condiments and Breakfast & Spreads), ready pages and blog posts.

Who this imported food ecommerce website template is for

Buyers of imported food want the real thing: the right pasta, the right ramen, the right chocolate, not a local copy. Bilati is built to show where things come from and that they are genuine. It fits:

  • Imported food shops in city malls and neighbourhoods.
  • Importers and distributors who want to sell direct to homes.
  • Gourmet and deli shops with cheese, cold cuts and olives.
  • Asian pantry stores selling noodles, sauces and snacks from Korea and Japan.
  • Chocolate and confectionery sellers with gift boxes.
  • Luggage-trade sellers who bring products from abroad in small lots.
  • Corporate gift suppliers who build hampers of imported treats.

Compared with a gourmet food ecommerce website template that is only a design file, Bilati is a working shop: cart, checkout, accounts and order history are built in.

A travel-inspired design

The header looks like a passport page, with small stamp details, the logo, menu, search and cart. A slim bar above it carries your promise, such as "Genuine imports from 20 countries". Change it in Theme Options whenever you like. Search shows matching products while the buyer types "ramen" or "parmesan".

Ink navy and parchment give a calm, travel-journal feel; tomato red marks buttons and prices. Airmail stripes frame sections and the footer, which holds your address, hours, phone and payment logos. It is a playful but tidy look, which suits an imported food ecommerce website template where the products come in many colours and languages.

Designed for phones

The phone layout has one main banner, cards two per row, large pack buttons, a menu sheet from the left and a bottom tab bar with Home, Shop, Cart and Account.

Homepage blocks you can switch on, off and reorder

Every block has its own on/off switch and fields in Theme Options, and you can change the order. No code and no page builder.

Polaroid hero

Your headline in Bangla or English, a short line such as "Imported · Customs cleared", two buttons (Explore the Pantry and Gift Boxes) and a row of passport stamps with country names. Beside it, three tilted polaroid photos of your products with a postmark.

Taste the world

Perforated country stamps, such as Italy, Japan, Belgium, Spain, Korea and Turkey. Each stamp opens a product search for that country, so buyers can shop by kitchen.

Luggage-tag categories

"Browse the Pantry" shows each category as a luggage tag with a photo.

Just landed

A rail of your newest products, ideal for the latest shipment.

Passport favourites

A grid of the products you tag "top".

Boarding-pass tasting box

An offer card shaped like a boarding pass, with a box name, a route of countries, a price, a short list of what is inside and a "Book this box" button. Use it for a monthly tasting box or a gift hamper.

Promises, reviews, FAQ and blog

Four authenticity promises, three review cards styled as postcards, a FAQ block with a help line and your latest three posts. The demo reviews and the "20 countries" line are placeholder text, so match them to your shop.

Product pages for imported goods

Every demo product is a variable product with Single and Twin Pack options, each with its own price. The card button reads "Choose Pack". Add sizes or multipacks with WooCommerce's normal variations.

  • Gallery with a discount tag when an item is on sale.
  • Price range and an "In Stock" pill.
  • Short text where you can note the country, weight and best-before date.
  • Secure payment strip with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, bKash, Nagad, Rocket or cash on delivery logos.
  • Pack buttons, quantity, Add to Cart and Buy Now.
  • Three promise boxes for delivery, cash on delivery and returns.
  • Key highlights card built from the product details.
  • Help card with Call and WhatsApp; WhatsApp opens with the product name.

Description, Additional information and Reviews tabs follow, with a score card above the reviews, then related products. The theme uses WooCommerce's own templates, so plugins for product origin, expiry dates or gift messages work on this imported food ecommerce website template without changes.

Cart, checkout and delivery

The cart and checkout show a three-step bar (Shopping cart, Delivery & payment, Order placed), a free-delivery progress bar and a row of trust notes.

  • Delivery zones: the demo sets Inside Dhaka at ৳80 and Outside Dhaka at ৳120. Change them or add more.
  • Cash on delivery is on. Add bKash, Nagad or cards with their WooCommerce plugins.
  • Welcome coupon: WELCOME200 is ready in the demo.
  • Delivery details on each product: 1–2 days inside Dhaka and 2–4 days outside by default.

Most pantry items travel well across Bangladesh. Chocolate and cheese need care in summer, so you can limit them to nearby zones with WooCommerce shipping classes.

Guest orders or accounts

Guests can order by default. Switch on "Orders need an account" and buyers sign in with a Bangladeshi mobile number or an email and a password in a pop-up, then return to checkout. Signed-in buyers get a My Account dashboard, a wishlist and their order history.

Shop page and filters

The shop page has a filter sidebar: search, categories, a price range in taka, average rating, stock status and on-sale items, with Apply and Reset. Wishlist hearts sit on every card, and a Track Order page is included.

Imported stock comes and goes with each shipment. The "In Stock" filter and the wishlist in this imported food ecommerce website template let buyers save an item and come back when the next shipment lands.

How light is it?

  • One JavaScript file of 57.4 KB, about 14.5 KB compressed, in plain JavaScript.
  • No jQuery needed by the theme itself.
  • One stylesheet of about 100 KB compressed.
  • No page builder, and web fonts can be switched off for system fonts.

Stamps, stripes and tags are styled with CSS rather than large images. WooCommerce and your plugins still load their own files, which the theme leaves alone. Compress your product photos and this imported food ecommerce website template stays quick on mobile data.

Running your imported food ecommerce website template day to day

You work in the normal WordPress and WooCommerce dashboard, plus one Bilati menu for the theme's own pages.

Orders and shipments

Orders arrive in WooCommerce → Orders. When a new shipment lands, add the products and they appear in the "Just landed" rail. Mark items out of stock when the lot is sold.

Theme Options

Colours or a ready palette, fonts, button shape, the top bar, the hero stamps and photos, country stamps, the tasting box, promises, every homepage block, checkout and accounts, company details, hours, payment logos and footer.

Enquiries, subscribers and licence

Contact form messages are emailed and kept under Bilati → Enquiries, so a request for a product you do not stock yet is never lost. Newsletter sign-ups are listed under Subscribers. Activate your licence once and updates arrive in the dashboard.

Works with any WooCommerce plugin

Expiry date, product origin, gift message, SMS, courier and payment plugins use WooCommerce's normal hooks, so they work with this imported food ecommerce website template as on any shop.

Getting started

  1. Install WordPress and WooCommerce on your hosting.
  2. Upload Bilati in Appearance → Themes and activate it.
  3. Activate your licence with the key from your Themeve account.
  4. Import the demo from Bilati → Setup.
  5. Add your products with packs, prices, country and best-before date.
  6. Set your country stamps and tasting box.
  7. Set delivery and payment, then place a test order from your phone.

Photograph imported items with the original label facing the camera. Buyers look for the language on the pack as proof that it is genuine.
