Overview

EduLe is an online learning WordPress theme with the course system built in: sell courses through WooCommerce, build lessons, quizzes and assignments in a visual builder, track watch time and progress, issue certificates, let instructors earn a share, and take bKash, Nagad and Rocket Send Money.

EduLe is an online learning WordPress theme with the whole course system built into the theme. You sell courses as WooCommerce products, students learn on a clean lesson page, instructors build and sell their own courses, and you keep the share you set. No separate LMS plugin is needed, so there is one theme to set up, one place for settings and one licence.

The look is fresh and friendly: green (#278b55) with soft mint panels, Lexend headings and Inter body text. Course cards show the photo, level, lessons, rating, instructor and price, so a visitor can compare courses in seconds on a laptop or on a phone.

The one-click demo brings 7 course categories, 6 instructors, 18 courses with full curricula and reviews, every page, 6 blog posts and the menus.

Who this online learning WordPress theme is for

EduLe fits anyone who teaches and wants to be paid for it online:

  • Coaching centres moving admission, model tests and recorded classes online.
  • Skill trainers teaching design, coding, marketing, spoken English or freelancing.
  • Single teachers who sell a few courses under their own name.
  • Training companies with several instructors and a revenue share.
  • Schools and madrasas that want recorded lessons, quizzes and certificates.
  • Professional bodies running short certificate courses for members.
  • YouTube and Facebook teachers who want a paid course site instead of free videos only.

A normal education design only shows pages. EduLe is a working learning management system WordPress theme with enrolment, progress, quizzes, assignments, certificates and instructor payouts already inside.

Courses are WooCommerce products

In this online learning WordPress theme, every course is a WooCommerce product, so prices, sale prices, coupons, orders, refunds and reports work the way you already know. You can sell a course for a fixed price, give it free, or run a discount for a new batch.

A free course has a one-click Enrol button. A paid course goes through a short checkout with no address fields, because nothing is shipped. Buy Now and Add to Cart sit side by side, and on a phone a sticky buy bar appears once the main buy card scrolls away.

Course pages that answer every question

The course page shows what the student will learn, the full curriculum with sections and lesson lengths, the instructor profile, reviews and the price card. Live class times appear in their own box when the course has them.

Find the right course quickly

The course list has filters for category, price, rating and level, a sort menu and a Load More button. The "All Courses" menu item opens a mega panel with your categories and featured courses.

A visual course builder

As a learning management system WordPress theme, EduLe lets instructors and admins build a curriculum in a drag-and-drop builder instead of typing lines into a box. Add a section, add lessons under it and pick a lesson type:

  • Video or text lesson with a video link (such as YouTube) or written content.
  • Quiz with your own questions, answer options and pass mark.
  • Assignment where the student hands in text, a link or a file up to 10 MB.
  • Lesson files such as a PDF workbook, sheet or code file to download.

The demo course shows each type, including a sample video, a workbook PDF, a three-question final quiz and a "Hand in your project" assignment.

The learning page

Students learn on a focused page, the heart of any online learning WordPress theme, with the lesson on one side and the curriculum on the other. Progress is saved as they go, and "Continue learning" on the dashboard opens the last lesson.

Watch time that counts

The theme counts the seconds a student spends on each lesson. "Mark as complete" opens only after a set share of the lesson length has been watched, 80% by default. A student cannot click through a course in five minutes to collect a certificate.

Quizzes, Q&A and assignments

Quizzes are marked at once, and the best score is kept. Passing a quiz completes that lesson. Every lesson also has its own question and answer area, so a doubt about lesson 4 stays under lesson 4. Assignments wait for the instructor to grade them.

Certificates

When every lesson is complete, the student gets a certificate page with their name and course, and a Download PDF button that prints it on a wide A4 page. In Theme Options you choose the design picture, title, lines, signer and colour, or switch certificates off.

Timed preview while payment is pending

Many students in Bangladesh pay by bKash, Nagad or Rocket Send Money and wait for the shop to check the payment. EduLe does not leave them waiting with nothing. While the order is on hold, each lesson opens for a set number of seconds, 60 by default, and then locks.

When you mark the order Completed, the full course opens. The clock runs on the server, so refreshing the page does not reset it.

Payments for an online learning WordPress theme in Bangladesh

EduLe includes a built-in "bKash / Nagad / Rocket (Send Money)" payment method. The student sends money to your number, then types the sender number and the transaction ID at checkout. The order goes on hold until you confirm it.

Because the shop runs on WooCommerce, any WooCommerce payment plugin also works. Add an SSLCommerz, card or PayPal plugin with your merchant account when you want automatic online payments. Cash on delivery is off in the demo, since a course is not delivered by a courier.

Dashboards for students, instructors and you

Student dashboard

An online learning WordPress theme should show students where they stand. They see their enrolled courses, progress bars, learning time and completed lessons, a "Continue learning" card, their wishlist and a sign-in history with the last 30 logins. My Courses lists every course with its progress and certificate.

Instructor dashboard

Instructors create courses with the builder and send them for review, see their students and earnings, grade assignments and request payouts. Course earnings use the share you set, 70% by default, with a minimum payout amount of ৳500.

Admin control

You approve courses before they go live and give the Instructor role to people who apply through the Become an Instructor page. Payout requests arrive under WooCommerce → Instructor payouts, where you mark them paid or reject them. Admins can also view any student's certificate.

Accounts by mobile number or email

Sign in, sign up and forgot password all open in a pop-up, so the student never loses the course page. A mobile number or an email works for both. Links to the sign-in, sign-up, forgot password and My Account pages open the same pop-up.

Email and SMS messages go out for welcome, enrolment, payment confirmed and certificate earned. In Theme Options → Notifications you paste your SMS company's send link with {number} and {message}, and the theme does the rest.

A homepage that sells courses

The homepage starts with a hero where the instructor photo stands on a green band with small stars and doodles, plus a course search with tabs. Below it come popular courses, a Become an Instructor band, featured instructors, benefits and numbers, student reviews, a FAQ with six questions in two columns and a newsletter box.

On a phone the menu sits on the left, the logo in the centre and the account button on the right. The hero photo comes first and large, "Why learn" turns into a two-by-two grid of cards and reviews become a swipe row. The layout was checked from 360 px wide up.

Light and fast

For an online learning WordPress theme, speed matters on mobile data. The theme's own script, theme.js, is about 76 KB (about 18 KB gzipped) and does not need jQuery on the front end. There is no page builder in the way. Pages stay quick, which matters when a student opens a lesson on a bus.

Install, licence and updates

Install the theme, activate WooCommerce, enter your licence key and run the one-click demo import from the setup screen. The theme stays locked until the licence is active, and the licence also brings theme updates.

After the import, change the logo, colours, homepage sections, payment numbers and notification settings from Theme Options. Most people can open the first course on the same day.

EduLe runs on WooCommerce, the free shop plugin used by millions of stores. See all our WordPress themes for more designs.
