Overview
Neel is a denim store ecommerce website template for shops that sell jeans, jackets and other denim wear. Jeans are hard to sell online because buyers worry about two things, the fit and the wash. This theme deals with both before the order is placed.
It is a full online shop on WordPress. The store plugin, payment methods, courier tools and a one-click demo come in the package. You add your own denim, set your colours and open for orders.
Who can use this denim store ecommerce website template
The look borrows from an old workwear shop. The background is raw cream like a pegboard, the bands are indigo twill, the stitching is rust and the labels look like leather patches with copper rivets. That style suits many shops, not only jeans sellers:
- Men's and women's jeans stores
- Denim jacket, shirt, skirt and shorts sellers
- Kids denim shops
- Workwear and uniform suppliers
- Menswear boutiques with a strong denim line
- Small labels that make their own jeans and want to sell direct
- Resellers who stock a few mills and brands
As a denim store ecommerce website template it is built for fit and finish, but the sample products are denim only as an example. You can replace them with any clothing that has fits, sizes and finishes.
Why jeans are hard to sell online
Ask anyone why they sent a pair of jeans back and you hear two answers. The fit was wrong, or the colour looked different in person. A jeans shop must answer both questions before checkout, not after delivery.
Neel has one block that finds the fit, another that explains the wash, and a product page that backs both up.
Light code, fast pages
- One stylesheet of about 130 KB and one script of about 26 KB on the front end
- The front-end script does not use jQuery
- Images load lazily
- Google Fonts can be switched off for system fonts
- Homepage blocks you turn off are not loaded
Front-end features of the denim store ecommerce website template
Fit finder
The Fit finder asks the shopper two things, their build and the look they like. From that it names one of five fits:
- Skinny
- Slim
- Straight
- Relaxed
- Wide
It draws the leg shape and lists the jeans you have tagged in that fit. A customer who has worn the same straight cut for years can try a relaxed pair with more confidence. A first-time buyer gets a clear start instead of a size chart and a guess.
Wash guide
The Wash guide has five tabs: raw, dark, mid, light and black. Each tab shows an indigo swatch, explains how that wash fades, says who it suits and lists the pieces in it. Raw denim fans learn how their pair will age. Office buyers see why a dark wash sits well with a formal shirt.

A closer look at returns
Returns are the biggest hidden cost in a clothing shop. Each one means a courier fee, a repack and a lost sale. Neel cannot remove them, but it attacks the two main causes.
First, the fit finder and the size guide set the right expectation about the cut. Second, the wash guide and the swatch show what the colour really is, and how it changes with wear. Add clear exchange text on the product page and an Exchange and Returns module, and a wrong size becomes a simple swap instead of an argument.
Use the order list to see which fits are exchanged most. If relaxed fits keep coming back in a smaller size, say so in the product text. Over time the shop teaches itself.
How it helps you sell denim
- The fit finder gives a nervous buyer a starting point, which lowers returns.
- The wash guide explains why one pair costs more, such as raw denim that ages.
- The hemming promise answers the question about trouser length.
- Exchange tools make buying a second size less scary.
- A mill sale with stock bars suits end-of-season clearance.
- Bundle offers can pair jeans with a shirt or a belt.
Set up in six steps
- Install the theme on WordPress 6.0 or newer with PHP 7.4 or newer.
- Activate it and install Themeve Commerce when the setup screen asks.
- Import the demo in one click.
- Choose a palette and a font pair.
- Replace the sample jeans with your products, and tag each pair with its fit and wash.
- Turn on your payment methods and courier, then place a test order.
The demo, called Neel Denim House, brings in 26 products from two labels, with the fit finder, the wash guide, the denim journal, menus and pages such as About, Delivery, FAQ, Our Stores, Returns and Exchange and Track Order. Labels and artwork are invented samples.
Why choose this denim store ecommerce website template over a plain one
For a denim store website template, a plain fashion layout can show a photo and a size list. Neel adds the two things denim buyers need, a way to find a fit and a way to read a wash. Payments and couriers for Bangladesh are also in the package, so you do not hunt for extra plugins.
If you need a basic denim store website template for a handful of products, a lighter layout may do. If you carry many fits and washes, Neel gives your customers structure and gives you fewer returns to handle.
