Overview

Nongor is a Laravel hotel booking system for your own travel marketplace: hotels, resorts, tour operators and transfer companies list as partners, travellers book stays, tours, airport transfers and trip bundles, and you approve listings, earn commission and pay out from the admin panel. SSLCommerz (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, cards), 30 languages and a web installer for shared hosting.

Nongor is a Laravel hotel booking system for running your own travel marketplace. Hotels, resorts, tour operators and airport transfer companies join as partners and list their rooms, tours and cars. Travellers search, compare and book on one website, and you approve every partner and listing and keep a commission on each booking.

It is a complete web application, not a WordPress theme. It is built on Laravel 13 and runs on PHP 8.3 or newer with MySQL, MariaDB or SQLite.

The demo content adds about 200 hotels and resorts in Bangladesh and abroad, plus tours, transfers, deals, bookings and reviews.

Who Nongor is for

Nongor fits anyone who wants to sell stays and trips from many suppliers on one site, instead of a single hotel's booking form:

  • Travel agencies that already work with dozens of hotels and want them to manage their own rooms and prices.
  • Tourism start-ups building a local booking site for Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Sajek or Kuakata.
  • Resort groups with several properties that want one site and one admin panel.
  • Tour operators who want to add hotels and airport pick-ups to their own packages.
  • Regional portals abroad, thanks to 30 languages and prices in each visitor's currency.
  • Developers and agencies who build booking sites for clients and want a clean Laravel base to start from.

If you were looking for a Laravel hotel booking system because a plugin-based site could not handle partners, commissions and payouts, Nongor was made for that job.

What travellers can book

The website has five ways to sell, all with search, filters, a detail page and a checkout:

  • Stays: hotels and resorts with rooms, rate plans, photos, amenities, policies and reviews.
  • Tours: day trips and packages from tour operators, with their own calendar.
  • Airport transfers: vehicles with routes and prices, run by transfer companies.
  • Deals: a page of partner promotions and member prices.
  • Trip builder: a stay plus a transfer and tours in one booking. Two services together get 5% off and three get 8% off by default.

Destination and country pages add highlights, the best time to visit and visa notes, so the site is useful before a traveller is ready to book.

The traveller account

Travellers sign up with email and password, or with Google or Facebook once you add the keys. Their account holds everything about their trips:

  • Bookings and trips: every booking with its status, a pay button for unpaid holds, cancel by the property's policy and add-to-calendar.
  • Wallet: refunds land here and pay for the next booking.
  • Nongor Coins: 1 coin is worth 1 taka. Coins can pay up to 20% of a booking.
  • Price alerts: "tell me when it gets cheaper", checked every hour.
  • Saved listings: a wishlist of hotels, tours and transfers.
  • Reviews: guests rate a stay after it ends, and partners can reply.
  • Notifications and profile and password settings.

Rewards that bring guests back

Coins come from completed bookings. There are four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. They are reached with 0, 2, 5 and 10 completed bookings in 24 months and earn 1, 2, 3 and 5 coins per 100 taka. A friend who joins with a referral link and the person who invited them both get 200 coins after the first completed stay.

The partner panel in this Laravel hotel booking system

Hotel owners, tour operators and transfer companies get their own panel at /partner. They sign up from "Become a partner", complete a business profile, add payout details and upload documents such as a trade licence and ID. Until you approve them, they only see the profile page.

Properties, rooms and photos

Adding a hotel is guided. The partner types a few letters to find the city, area or beach, then uses Find on map or Use my location and drags the pin. Next come the description, amenity chips and policies, then photos and rooms.

A room can start from a template such as Deluxe King, Twin or Family Suite, and Copy makes a similar room in one click. Rate plans add choices like breakfast included or non-refundable.

Rates and availability calendar

The calendar is the heart of any Laravel hotel booking system, and partners spend most of their time here. For a date range, or only on chosen weekdays such as Friday and Saturday, they set:

  • the price per night;
  • rooms for sale and rooms already sold elsewhere;
  • a minimum stay;
  • no check-in days.

Preview shows the page as guests will see it, and Submit sends it to you for review.

Bookings, earnings and promotions

  • Bookings: instant bookings confirm at once; on-request bookings are confirmed or declined by the partner.
  • No-shows: a guest who never arrives is marked "Guest did not arrive".
  • Balance collected: marks money taken at the property.
  • Export CSV: bookings open in Excel.
  • Earnings and withdrawals: the balance after commission, and payout requests to a bank, bKash or Nagad account. The minimum is 500 taka by default.
  • Promotions: discounts and member prices, capped at 50% together.
  • Reviews with replies, and notifications by panel and email.

The admin panel

You run the marketplace from /admin, the control room of this Laravel hotel booking system. The dashboard shows bookings, revenue and commission at a glance, and what is waiting for you.

  • Partners: approve, suspend and review documents.
  • Listings: preview each hotel, tour or vehicle, then approve it or reject it with a note the partner sees.
  • Bookings: every booking, with cancel, partial refund and CSV export.
  • Customers and users: roles, active status and wallet adjustments.
  • Reviews: moderation.
  • Payouts: pay a withdrawal with a transfer reference or reject it with a reason, plus CSV export for your accountant.
  • Coupons and commissions: discount codes, and your commission per service type or per partner.
  • Locations, countries, amenities and exchange rates: the catalogue the website is built on.
  • Settings, translations and licence.

Website content from header to footer

Admin → Website content edits what visitors see without code: the header menu, the hero slideshow with its headline, every home page section (destinations, categories, offers, inspiration, transfers, story video, newsletter and more) and the footer. Sections can be reordered, hidden or shown, with their own texts and images.

Payments, currencies and languages

Money is where a Laravel hotel booking system earns its keep. At checkout guests see at most two choices: online payment and pay at the property. A wallet balance is offered too when it covers the amount.

  • SSLCommerz is built in: guests pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket, cards or internet banking. Every payment is checked with the SSLCommerz validation API before the booking is confirmed.
  • Pay at the property: rooms are reserved with nothing paid online.
  • Deposits: partners can take part of the price online and the rest at the property.
  • Sandbox gateway: a test mode for demos and trial bookings.

Refunds always go to the traveller's wallet, from a cancellation, a rejected request or a refund you give in Admin → Bookings. Prices are stored and paid in taka and shown in the visitor's own currency, detected from their country on the first visit. Rates update every night, and you can lock a rate by hand.

Developers can add other gateways as drivers through the payment gateway contract in the code.

30 languages with right-to-left support

Visitors choose from 30 languages in the footer, including English, Bangla, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French and German. Arabic, Urdu and Persian are shown right-to-left. A first-time visitor whose country matches a language is offered it, never switched by force.

Admin → Translations changes any text in any language. Your changes win over the files and survive updates.

Many hotel booking website templates stop at the design. Nongor brings the logic too: holds, sweeps, payouts, coins and alerts are all handled for you.

Install a Laravel hotel booking system on shared hosting

You do not need a VPS. Nongor has a web installer that works on cPanel and other shared hosting:

  1. Server check: PHP version, extensions and writable folders.
  2. Database: MySQL, MariaDB or SQLite, with a Test connection button.
  3. Your site: name, address, default currency (taka), timezone and email.
  4. Admin account for the admin panel.
  5. Licence key (you may add it later).
  6. Install, with or without demo content.

Installing takes under a minute, or one to three minutes with demo content. If the domain must use public_html, the included .htaccess and index.php send every request to the public folder.

Add one cron job that runs every minute. It releases rooms of unpaid holds, refunds unanswered requests, completes finished stays and pays out coins, checks price alerts, updates exchange rates and sends queued emails.

Nginx on a VPS and local tools such as Laravel Herd are covered in the documentation, with an English guide and a Bangla quick start.

For developers

Buyers who want a hotel booking php script they can read and extend get standard Laravel code: models, services, Blade views and a versioned JSON API (v1) for the public catalogue, customers, partners and admin. Front-end changes need Node.js 20 or newer to rebuild the assets.

Compared with an older hotel booking php script, you get migrations, queued emails, scheduled tasks and artisan commands such as licence activation and rate updates.

Licence and updates

Each licence key is for one domain. Development addresses such as localhost, 127.0.0.1 and *.test need no licence, so you can build and test for free on your computer. Without an active licence visitors see a "licence not active" page, while sign-in and Admin → License keep working. The site checks the licence once a day, and a network problem never locks it, thanks to a 14-day grace period.

Admin → License tells you when a new version is out. Upload the new files, run the migrate command and your settings and translations stay in place.

Nongor is built on Laravel, the open-source PHP framework. Try every dashboard in the live demo: one click opens the website, the traveller account, the partner panel or the admin panel, and the demo resets every 6 hours.
