Next to the tabs sits a reading-pace picker. Choose how much you read in a day, and every book shows about how many days it will take you. It is a small touch, and it makes a thick novel feel far less scary.

A page to read before buying

Read the first page opens a book on a paper page, so shoppers can see how it begins, the same way they would flip open a copy in a real shop. If the opening lines hook them, one button adds the book to the bag.

24 homepage blocks, arranged like shelves

This bookshop WordPress theme comes with 24 homepage blocks. Switch any of them off and drag the rest into the order you like; on a phone, arrow buttons move them up and down. Each block has its own settings.

From book page to doorstep

Every book page shows a delivery date, so the reader knows when the parcel should arrive. Paperback and hardcover can be set up as formats, and publishers work as brands with their own logos.

Shoppers sign in or register in a popup without leaving the page. Reviews sit in a fold under the book, and a popup invites the first review when a title has none yet. A wishlist keeps the maybe-later books together, and back-in-stock helps when a popular title sells out.

Checkout is a single page with bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, cash on delivery and manual payment. An “Order placed” popup confirms each order, and the Track Order page lets readers follow the parcel. Steadfast and Pathao courier handle delivery.

All of this comes from Themeve Commerce, the store plugin bundled with Pata and installed for you from Pata → Setup. It also brings coupons, invoices, SMS and OTP, new-order alerts on Telegram, and the Facebook Pixel with Conversion API. In the dashboard, the store tools live under one menu called Shop.
