The Projects module is what makes this transport website template different. Each project is a case study with a title, client, category, location, year, photos, a summary, the full story and result lines such as "18% lower cost".

A buyer looking for a carrier for 40 containers a month wants to see that you have done it before.

A project page such as "Weekly garment exports, Gazipur to Chattogram port" or "Heavy machinery to a power plant site" shows that in a way no slogan can. Projects appear in the homepage gallery and on their own /projects pages, and the module can be switched off if you do not need it.

Quotes for contract work

Large jobs start with a quote, not a checkout. The quote form collects route, weight, volume, ready date and how often the cargo moves. In the admin you set the status (New, Quoted, Won, Lost), enter your price, reply by e-mail and SMS and convert a won quote into a shipment.

Pricing

Rate cards are set per mode and route, with zones for districts, ports and international areas. Chargeable weight uses the larger of actual and volume weight, with a divisor per mode (air 6000, express 5000, road and rail 3000, sea 1000). Fuel surcharge, insurance, COD fee and VAT are added from Settings, and an instant price calculator shows the total and the estimated delivery on the website.

Shipments

Each shipment moves through booked, picked up, in transit, at hub, in customs, out for delivery and delivered, with on hold, returned and cancelled for exceptions. Every change writes to a public tracking history. Staff can bulk-update, re-price after cargo changes, print a barcode label and invoice and record proof of delivery with a photo.

Dispatch and drivers

A dispatch board shows each branch's drivers, pickups, cargo in transit and deliveries. Drivers sign in on a phone, see only their jobs and update status, location, receiver name, delivery photo and cash collected.

Clients, payments and reports

Business clients can have a monthly credit account with a credit limit, a contract discount and a private note. Their page lists every shipment, their top routes and billed and due amounts. Clients with an account see their shipments, quotes and support tickets, and delay or damage tickets get high priority.

Online payment works through bKash and Nagad merchant gateways and SSLCommerz, with manual Send Money by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or Upay and Pay at Pickup for cash or card. COD collected for senders is listed until you mark it paid out.

Reports show shipments per day, results by mode in shipments, chargeable kilos and revenue, top routes, top clients, sources, payment methods, cargo types and deliveries per driver, with a daily CSV. The dashboard adds on-time delivery, late shipments and pickups due.

Branches and hubs

Offices and sorting hubs have their own address, phone, e-mail, hours and map link. They appear on the Contact page and are used on shipments and the dispatch board, so a company with yards in Dhaka, Chattogram and Mongla shows each one clearly. A transport website template for a multi-branch firm needs exactly this.

Messages

Each status can send its own SMS to the sender and receiver. New bookings reach the team by e-mail and Telegram, a WhatsApp chat bubble and the WhatsApp Cloud API are included, and a message log keeps every SMS, e-mail and WhatsApp message.

Settings and roles in the transport website template

General settings hold the company name, tagline, phone, 24/7 hotline, e-mail, head office, hours, map and WhatsApp number. Branding sets the logo, favicon and colours for the whole site. Home page settings edit the hero, numbers, process steps, why-us points and call to action, one line per item.

Shipping rules decide online booking, guest booking, the heaviest weight priced online, pickup lead time and same-day cut-off, auto-confirmation, the tracking prefix, required proof of delivery, cancel before pickup and fake-booking protection. Marketing settings take Facebook Pixel with Conversion API, GA4 or Tag Manager, Search Console and TikTok Pixel; clients can sign in by password, SMS code, e-mail code, Google or Facebook.

Roles and integrations

Admin sees everything; Manager all but settings, modules, API, staff and licence; Operations handles shipments, dispatch, clients, quotes and tickets; Driver sees only their deliveries. An activity log records changes. API keys and webhooks connect an ERP, a client portal or a shop.

Install and licence

No terminal, Composer or Node is needed. Upload the zip in cPanel File Manager, point the domain to the public folder and open the site. The web installer checks the server, connects to MySQL, MariaDB or SQLite, sets your company and mail, creates the admin and takes the licence key.

Then choose to install with or without demo content. Demo content adds services, industries, projects, zones, rates, branches, about 690 shipments with tracking history, quotes, team, testimonials, blog posts and photos. A clean install gives only the standard pages and FAQs. Add one cron line for late-shipment flags and clean-up.

One licence key works on one domain; local test addresses run without one. Visitors can switch the site between English and বাংলা, and you get the full Laravel source to extend.
