Khoborprobaho – Bangla News Script for Video, Photo and Opinion Portals

Khoborprobaho (খবরপ্রবাহ) is a bangla news script for portals that tell stories with pictures, video and strong opinion as much as with text. Built with Laravel, it has a bold red and black design, a dark full-width video band, a photo mosaic, an opinion strip with round writer photos and a grey "বিশেষ আয়োজন" band for special coverage, on top of a full newsroom with reporters, editors and ads.

The name means "flow of news", and the layout follows that idea: a fast red "এইমাত্র" (just now) ticker at the top, the biggest story in large bold type, then a steady stream of sections, video and photos down the page.

The red and black homepage

A black top bar carries the date, quick links and social icons. Under it sit the logo and a search box, then a white menu where the current section gets a red underline. On a phone the header shrinks to a logo, a search button and a menu button that opens a drawer of sections, so readers reach sports or entertainment with one thumb.

Top of the page

The lead story sits on a dark fade in large bold type, with two picture stories beside it and four more stories with pictures below. Under that, a lead and four headlines share a row with the poll. On the right, red-numbered lists show সর্বশেষ (latest) and সর্বাধিক পঠিত (most read). Three small ad banners sit under the top news, a natural place for local sponsors.

Down the page

Next comes the grey special coverage band for an election, budget or festival series. The opinion strip shows columnists with round photos. A dark video band plays your newest reports. District news has its own block with a dark district picker. Pairs and trios of category boxes follow, then a photo mosaic and a black footer.

Nothing on this bangla news script homepage is fixed in code. Every block is filled from the categories you choose in Admin, Homepage: the lead and four headlines, four cards, opinion, two side-by-side blocks, district news and three rows of three boxes.

Video, photo stories and opinion in this bangla news script

Each story has a type: News, Video, Photo story or Opinion. The type decides where it appears, so your team does not have to place anything by hand.

• Video: paste a YouTube link and the video replaces the main picture. Video stories fill the dark video band and the /video page.
• Photo story: add more pictures under the main one. They appear under the text of the story and on the /photo-gallery page, and feed the photo mosaic.
• Opinion: the writer's photo and name lead the opinion strip with round portraits.
• News: the normal story, with picture, caption and summary.

The text editor also has a YouTube button, so a reporter can drop a clip in the middle of a written story. Pasted text from Word keeps only simple formatting, which keeps every page clean and quick.

A newsroom that keeps the flow steady

Khoborprobaho has three roles. A Reporter writes and sends stories to Waiting for an editor and cannot publish. An Editor publishes every story and runs categories, tags, the homepage and polls. The Admin also controls ads, pages, users, settings and the licence.

Designations such as Video Journalist, Staff Reporter or Columnist appear with each byline. The dashboard shows story counts, the waiting list, the most read stories of the week and recent changes, and + Write news is always one click away.

The story form

Shoulder line, headline and summary come first, then the text, the main picture (at least 1200 by 675) with a caption, the YouTube link and extra pictures. Optional Google and Facebook fields set the sharing title and description. On the right are status, publish time for scheduled stories, the Lead, Picture news and Breaking switches, the type, byline, district, upazila and tags.

The admin works in a phone browser, so a video journalist can upload the story right after filming.

A day on a video desk

In the morning the video team films a market report and a short interview. Back at the desk, a reporter writes the story, pastes the YouTube link and sets the type to Video. The editor checks the headline, adds the district and publishes; the clip appears in the dark video band within seconds.

In the afternoon a photographer files a photo story from a festival with twelve captioned pictures. By evening the columnist's piece is in the opinion strip. A good bangla news script lets each of these people do their part without waiting for a web developer.

Ads, polls and other income

This bangla news script has eleven ad places, more than a plain portal:

• A wide banner under the ticker.
• Three small 308 by 90 banners under the top news.
• Wide banners after section 4 and after section 8.
• Two 300 by 250 sidebar boxes.
• Three places in every story: under the headline, after the text and inside the text after every four paragraphs.

Each ad is a banner with a link or a network code such as Google AdSense, with start and end dates and a click count. The inline place repeats in long stories, so one ad fills every gap. Polls ask readers a Yes, No or No comment question and show the results with percentages.

Readers, search engines and speed

Readers get story, category, tag, author, latest, popular, search, archive, country, video and photo gallery pages. Every story page has share buttons for Facebook, WhatsApp and X, copy link and print, related news and the next story.

For search engines there are per-story Google fields, structured data for news articles, a sitemap at /sitemap.xml and an RSS feed at /feed. A bangla news script also needs proper Bangla dates; this one shows Bangla digits, the Bangla calendar and "x minutes ago" times throughout.

Quick on mobile data

Video is loaded from YouTube only when it is needed, the Bangla font is served from your own domain and the homepage blocks are cached by Laravel. Readers coming from Facebook on a phone get the story fast, even on a busy news day.

Install the bangla news script on cPanel

No terminal, Composer or Node is needed; the zip already holds the vendor folder and built assets. Create a database, upload and extract the zip, point the domain to the public folder and open the site. The web installer checks the server, connects to MySQL, MariaDB or SQLite, asks for the Bangla and English site names and your admin account, and takes your licence key.

In the last step you choose to install with or without demo content. Demo content brings sample stories, photos, videos, photo stories, a poll and house ads, so every block is full while you learn. A clean install gives you the menu categories and the About, Contact, Privacy and Terms pages, nothing more. The installer locks itself when it finishes.

Settings and licence

Settings change the logo, favicon, Bangla and English names, tagline, editor and publisher lines, office address, phone and e-mail, footer note, ticker length, social links, homepage title and description and Google Analytics ID. One licence key works on one domain; local test addresses run without one, and the License page shows when an update is ready.
