Overview

Multi-Vendor Marketplace is a multi vendor ecommerce PHP script built with Laravel: sellers register, get verified and run their own stores, one order splits into sub-orders per seller, commission works by category or seller, wallets settle after delivery, and payouts go to bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank, with COD, SSLCommerz and Steadfast, Pathao and REDX couriers.

Multi-Vendor Marketplace is a complete multi vendor ecommerce php script built with Laravel, for anyone who wants to run a Bangladesh marketplace where many sellers open their own stores under one website. You get the storefront, a buyer account, a seller centre and an admin panel in one self-hosted application, with commission, wallets, payouts, couriers and returns already worked out.

One order from a buyer can hold products from several sellers. The system splits it into one sub-order per seller, each with its own status, delivery and money, so a cancel at one store never touches the others.

The demo marketplace has 10 stores with 191 original products across fashion, electronics, groceries, home and beauty.

Who this multi vendor ecommerce php script is for

  • Marketplace founders starting a local Daraz-style site for a city, district or niche.
  • Wholesale markets and trade bodies that want their member shops online together.
  • Niche marketplaces for handmade goods, books, gadgets, fashion or farm produce.
  • Shopping malls and plazas giving every tenant a store page.
  • Existing e-commerce brands inviting other sellers to sell beside them.
  • Developers and agencies who build marketplaces for clients and want a tested Laravel base.

It is a working laravel multi vendor ecommerce script with the hard parts already done: order splitting, commission, an immutable ledger, settlement and refunds.

How sellers join and sell

Seller registration follows clear steps: sign up, verify email or phone, add business and bank details, wait for admin verification, get the store approved, upload products for review and start selling. Each step shows the seller what is still missing.

The seller centre

  • Verification with documents for KYC.
  • Store with logo, banner, description and its own page at /s/store-name.
  • Products with add, edit, delete, CSV bulk upload and a quick variant builder.
  • Inventory with stock, SKU, variants and low-stock alerts.
  • Orders moving from new to confirmed, packed, shipped and delivered.
  • Shipping with pickup requests, courier booking and tracking.
  • Finance with sales, commission, wallet balance and payout requests.
  • Promotions with seller vouchers, discounts and campaigns.
  • Reviews, questions and chat with buyers.
  • Analytics for sales, conversion and top products.
  • Support for returns, disputes and tickets.

Staff accounts let a seller add a packer or manager with limited rights, and store locations show where buyers can visit.

Orders split per seller

When a buyer checks out with items from three stores, the system creates one master order and three sub-orders. Each seller sees only their own sub-order, packs it and ships it. Price, discount and commission are saved per item at the moment of sale, so later price changes never rewrite old orders.

Checkout runs in a database transaction with stock reservation, so two buyers cannot buy the last item at the same time. A repeat-order guard and a daily order limit per phone number cut down fake orders.

Commission, wallet and payouts

This is the part most marketplace builds get wrong, and it is the core of this multi vendor ecommerce php script. Commission can be set globally, per category or per seller, with a history of every change.

  • Seller wallet and ledger: every sale, commission, fee, refund and payout is a ledger entry that is never edited.
  • Settlement: money becomes withdrawable only after delivery and the return window, not at order time.
  • Refunds: a refund adjusts the seller's earning and the commission per item.
  • Payouts: sellers request a withdrawal to bKash, Nagad, Rocket or a bank above a minimum amount; the admin approves, holds or marks it paid.

Reconciliation reports show what the marketplace collected, what it owes sellers and what it earned.

Payments for Bangladesh

  • Cash on Delivery, with an optional advance before the order is confirmed.
  • Manual bKash, Nagad, Rocket and bank payments where the buyer sends money and uploads proof or a transaction ID for the admin to verify.
  • SSLCommerz, bKash and Nagad gateways for automatic payment with your merchant keys, with webhook handling that never counts one payment twice.

Shipping and couriers

Each seller can ship orders themselves or drop parcels at the marketplace hub. Steadfast, Pathao and REDX are built in. A seller can connect their own courier account, and parcels can be booked automatically when an order is marked packed, with status updates synced every 30 minutes. The admin can also ship packed parcels from the Shipments page with the platform's courier account.

Addresses use division, district and upazila or thana. Shipping zones and charges work by district or by chosen upazilas, with separate inside and outside Dhaka rates. Delivery date and time slots, shipping labels and return-to-origin handling are included.

Returns, exchanges and disputes

A return follows a fixed path: the buyer requests it with photos, the seller responds, the admin reviews, the parcel is picked up and inspected, and the refund is approved or rejected. Partial refunds, return shipping costs and eligibility per category are set up front. If the buyer and seller disagree, the case becomes a dispute that the admin resolves with notes.

The buyer side

  • Sign in or sign up with a mobile number or email and an OTP code, in a pop-up.
  • Search with suggestions, filters, sorting and a Load More button.
  • Wishlist, multi-seller cart, recently viewed items and guest checkout.
  • Platform vouchers, seller vouchers, flash sales and free shipping offers.
  • Order history, tracking, invoices, cancel, return and refund.
  • Reviews, seller questions and chat with the seller.
  • Saved addresses, profile, notifications and an affiliate page.

Chat with sellers hides phone numbers, emails and links, so deals stay on your marketplace. Every review waits for approval before it shows.

The admin panel

The admin panel runs the whole marketplace: a dashboard with GMV and revenue; sellers to approve, reject, suspend and verify; customers; product moderation to approve, reject or flag listings; categories, attributes, brands and size guides; order exceptions and cancels; commission; payouts; couriers; refunds; and reports.

Marketing and website tools

Banners, flash sales, coupons, campaigns, affiliates, newsletter subscribers and sales or sign-up pop-ups that use real data only. A homepage section builder, header, footer and menu settings, branding colour and logo, pages, SEO, sitemap and redirects let you change the site without code.

Messages and tracking

Email, SMS and in-app notifications, with an SMS gateway set up by pasting your provider's send link. A WhatsApp support button connects buyers to your team. Facebook Pixel, GA4, Google Tag Manager and product feeds for Google and Facebook are built in.

Why start from a ready marketplace

Building a marketplace from zero usually takes a team many months, and most of that time goes into rules buyers never see: who owns which order, when a seller may withdraw, what happens to commission after a partial refund. A ready multi vendor ecommerce php script turns those months into a setup job.

This one was built in phases, from accounts and seller onboarding to the catalogue, checkout, payments, ledger, couriers, returns, marketing and security, with tests written for each rule. Mock connections are never presented as live; anything that needs a provider account is marked as needing your keys.

Compared with a plugin stack on a blog platform, a laravel multi vendor ecommerce script keeps the marketplace logic in one codebase, so updates do not break one plugin against another. When you outgrow the defaults, a developer changes the multi vendor ecommerce php script directly instead of fighting add-ons.

Security and operations

Roles and permissions for admin staff, two-factor sign-in, a private staff login path, security headers, rate limits, fraud checks, an audit log viewer, database backups and a system health page. API keys and signed webhooks let a developer connect a mobile app or accounting tool. More than 200 automated tests cover rules such as duplicate orders, overselling and double payouts.

Install a multi vendor ecommerce php script on your own server

The marketplace is a Laravel 13 application with MySQL 8 in production. Upload the files, copy .env.example to .env, set the database and mail, run the key and migrate commands, then run the install command, which creates the first admin and prints the password once. Point the web root to the public folder and add the scheduler cron line for settlement, courier sync and queued messages.

A VPS is the best home for a marketplace, since queues, scheduled jobs and many sellers' photos need room. Starter categories and shipping zones can be loaded with one command each.

Licence and updates

A live domain shows a "Not licensed" page until you activate your licence key in the admin panel. Local test sites stay open. The licence also brings updates.

The marketplace is built on Laravel, the open-source PHP framework. See all our Laravel projects for more ready shops and systems.

Good to know

Payment gateways, SMS, couriers and Google or Facebook sign-in need your own live keys and accounts; the code follows each provider's API but cannot be tested without them. The site is in English. The sale file is a fresh install without the demo stores and products.

Before launch, invite three to five trusted sellers, let them upload their products and run a few real orders from start to finish: payment, packing, courier, delivery, settlement and payout. That small test shows every gap in your rules before strangers join.

What is included
