Rongin – Cosmetics WordPress Theme

Rongin is a cosmetics WordPress theme with the feel of a fashion magazine, made for shops that sell colour: lips, face, eyes, nails, fragrance and tools. Nude, espresso and berry tones sit under Instrument Serif headings, and the hero is dark and dramatic. The products carry the colour. Everything around them stays quiet.

Rongin means colourful in Bangla. The theme runs on Themeve Commerce, our own shop plugin, which is included. You do not need WooCommerce. Two blocks make Rongin different from a general beauty template.

The lip bar

A row of lipsticks, each drawn in its own shade. Hover over one and the bullet twists up. Tap it and the product opens. You add one line per shade in Theme Options, in the form shade name, product slug and colour code, so the bar grows with your range.

Find your shade

Skin-tone swatches for fair, light, medium, tan and deep work as tabs. Each tab shows the products you have tagged for that tone, with a short tip from you. For every tone you set the name, the swatch colour, the product tag and the tip. It turns "which foundation is mine?" into one tap.

Speed and lightness

A cosmetics WordPress theme should not slow down your photos. Here is what the code shows:

• The front-end script is plain JavaScript with no jQuery and no outside libraries.
• Web fonts can be switched off in Theme Options, and the shop then uses fast system fonts.
• Motion can be turned off.
• Any homepage block you do not use can be hidden.

Every setting of this cosmetics WordPress theme is in one place. Open Rongin, then Theme Options. You get a setting search, a sticky save bar, a reset for each section, and export and import for backups. The Live Customizer sits in the Rongin menu. No code is needed.

Colours and fonts
