Overview
Pinon is a WordPress theme for shops that sell panjabi, sherwani and men's ethnic wear online. It is a sherwani ecommerce website template that already works as a full shop, not a picture of one. It has a calm emerald colour and size buttons on every product. Pinon runs on the free WooCommerce plugin, so carts, stock, coupons and orders work the way shop owners expect.
The demo brings 22 products in 5 categories (Cotton Panjabi, Designer Panjabi, Semi Long Panjabi, Embroidered Panjabi and Sherwani), three guide posts and all the help pages.
Who Pinon is for
Men's ethnic wear sells in waves. Eid, the wedding season and Friday prayers each bring their own rush, and buyers want to see the fabric, the embroidery and the right size before they pay. Pinon fits:
- Panjabi brands with cotton, designer and semi long lines.
- Sherwani and wedding wear shops that dress grooms and their families.
- Eid collection sellers who launch a new range every year.
- Tailoring houses with a ready-made line next to their custom work.
- Boutiques for men's ethnic wear, including kurta and pajama sellers.
- Facebook panjabi pages that want a real website with a cart and order history.
If you were looking for a sherwani ecommerce website template so that buyers can pick a size and order without a long chat, Pinon gives you that in one theme.
A sherwani ecommerce website template with a festive look
Pinon has its own design. The header holds the logo, a search box with a category picker, the account link and a cart that shows the cart total. On phones you get a menu button, a centred logo and the cart, with a full-width search row under them. The menu opens as a side drawer and search opens in its own panel.
The homepage opens with a hero slider on a light curtain-stripe background. Each slide has a photo on each side, a big condensed title and a ribbon-shaped button. It feels like a wedding stage without being loud. The emerald colour runs through buttons, labels and the footer, and you can change it in Theme Options.
Many ethnic wear website templates stop at a pretty homepage. In Pinon the shop, category, product, cart, checkout, account and order tracking pages all match the same look.
Homepage blocks you can switch on or off
Every block on the homepage has an on/off switch and its own fields in Theme Options. Here is what you get:
- Hero slider with two photos per slide, a condensed title and a ribbon button.
- Categories and offers side by side: "Our Category" with four cards, and "Offer Products" with a countdown and three offer cards that have size buttons and an order button.
- Featured products: a row of five with arrows.
- Latest products: a grid with five per row on wide screens and two per row on phones.
- Shop by occasion: photo tiles for Eid, Wedding, Jumu'ah and Everyday.
- Best selling: three big photo cards with a "BEST SELLING" label.
- FAQ in two columns, all closed at the start, plus a help strip with your phone number and WhatsApp.
- Blog: your latest three posts.
- Size guide: a table of chest, length and sleeve in inches, measuring tips and a WhatsApp help card (off by default).
- Customer reviews (off by default).
Unlike many ethnic wear website templates, you do not need a page builder to change a block. Turn the offer block off when no sale is running. Turn the size guide on before Eid, when many first-time buyers arrive and ask about fit.
Product pages, sizes and filters
Panjabi and sherwani sales depend on fit. In Pinon every product is a variable product with sizes M, L, XL and XXL shown as buttons on the product page. Each size can have its own price and stock, so XXL can cost a little more, for example ৳50 extra.
A Size Chart pop-up sits next to the size buttons. Buyers check chest and length without leaving the page. A stock badge shows what is left. Buy Now sends the buyer straight to the checkout, and Add to Cart keeps them shopping.
The product page has one white panel with the gallery (discount tag, zoom and thumbnails) and the summary.
The summary shows the title, stars, price with "You save", a short text, stock and brand pills, quantity, Buy Now and Add to Cart. A WhatsApp order button opens a chat with the product name filled in. A grey "Return & Warranty" box lists the categories and tags. Below that you get an SKU, Category and Tags table, then Description, Additional information and Reviews tabs, then related products.
The page is built with WooCommerce's own template functions. Plugins that hook into the product summary keep working.
Shop pages and filters
Category pages have a filter card. It holds Current Category (locked on a category page), Price Range, Average Rating, Stock Status and Product Status for items on sale. Buyers press Apply Filters or Reset All. On phones the filters open in their own panel, so the product grid stays clean.
This is where a sherwani ecommerce website template earns its keep in a big collection. Live search shows matching products while the buyer types. Someone looking for "embroidered" or "sherwani" sees results before pressing enter.
Light code for phones on mobile data
Most panjabi orders in Bangladesh come from phones. Some ethnic wear website templates load heavy sliders and builders that slow a cheap phone down.
Pinon keeps its own files small. The theme uses one plain JavaScript file of 55.6 KB (about 14 KB compressed) and one stylesheet of about 82 KB compressed. The theme itself needs no jQuery and no page builder. WooCommerce still loads its own scripts on shop pages, as it does with any theme.
Fewer files mean the first screen shows sooner on a cheap phone. Compress your product photos before upload and the shop stays quick during the Eid rush.
Accounts, orders and the dashboard
Pinon has its own sign-in and sign-up popup and page. Customers sign up with a Bangladeshi mobile number (01XXXXXXXXX) or with an email and password. By default an account is needed to place an order, which keeps fake orders down. Password reset works by email.
Buyers can save items to a wishlist and check an order on the Track Order page. The Contact page has a form, and every message is kept in the dashboard under Pinon → Enquiries, even if email is not set up yet. A newsletter sign-up collects subscribers, and you see the list in the dashboard.
Running the shop
You run Pinon from the normal WordPress and WooCommerce dashboard. Orders arrive in WooCommerce → Orders. Products, sizes, prices and stock are edited in WooCommerce → Products.
Theme Options is one settings page with a section sidebar. It holds colours, typography, header and menu, homepage blocks, the contact form, company details and footer, and delivery charges. The demo sets up a Bangladesh zone with home delivery at ৳80 and free delivery over ৳5,000. You can change both in WooCommerce.
Cash on delivery works from the start. Add bKash, Nagad or card payments with any WooCommerce payment plugin, and add a courier plugin later if you need one. The footer has a "Pay With" logo strip for the methods you accept.
Activate your licence once and updates arrive in the dashboard. Your content and settings stay in place.
A good sherwani ecommerce website template should let you change a price before Eid in a minute. Pinon does that with the tools WordPress users already know.
Getting started with your sherwani ecommerce website template
- Install WordPress and WooCommerce on your hosting.
- Upload Pinon in Appearance → Themes → Add New and activate it.
- Activate your licence with the key from your Themeve account.
- Import the demo from Pinon → Setup → Import demo. It takes one click.
- Add your collection: photos, sizes, prices and stock for each panjabi or sherwani.
- Set delivery and payment: your delivery charges and the methods you accept.
- Place a test order from your phone, then share the shop link on your page.
Shoot each panjabi on a hanger or a model in daylight, with one close-up of the embroidery. Use the same background for the whole collection. Square photos fit the cards and gallery best.
Plan your Eid range a month early. Add the new products as drafts, set the offer countdown, and publish them all on launch day. The sherwani ecommerce website template then shows a fresh collection the moment your Facebook post goes live.
Pinon runs on WooCommerce, the free shop plugin used by millions of stores. See all our WordPress themes for more shop designs.
